Weld Laboratory

A full-service resistance and arc welding facility capable of supporting all aspects of welding from material qualification to production validation and prototypes.

The laboratory operated by RoMan Engineering Services (RES) is a full service resistance and arc welding facility with integrated material preparation, metallographic, non-destructive evaluation, and material property capabilities. The full time staff includes degreed Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, and Welding engineers.

RES has performed material weldability qualification testing for domestic OEM’s since its inception in 2001. The lab is also well versed in industry standard weldability testing as specified in AWS, JIS and ISO standards.

RoMan Engineering Services has extensive experience in many resistive and arc welding processes and is capable of assisting from process development and optimization to product design validation and prototype construction.
